The Xiaomi Mi 11 will come without a charger included: this is announced by the CEO of the brand

Apple’s decision not to include the charger in the iPhone 12 box was, without a doubt, one of the most controversial in the smartphone industry and market this year. This caused endless criticism from both consumers and mobile manufacturers. The boom was so great that firms like Samsung made fun of it with memes and publications in media like Twitter… Xiaomi was another one that did not waste the opportunity to mock the Cupertino company.

The funny thing is that now Samsung and, more recently, Xiaomi, are planning to launch next phones without chargers included. Everything seems to indicate that said decision of the South Korean is official, like that of Xiaomi, which in a recent statement confirmed that the Mi 11, its next high-performance smartphone, will hit the market without the included chargeraccording to the very CEO of the brand.

Xiaomi announces that the Mi 11 will not be released with a charger

This news may surprise more than one. In fact, it is. It seems that the idea that Apple sets standards is confirmed over time, so much so that now its decision not to include the charger in its iPhone 12 will spread to other companies, and Xiaomi is not spared from it.

The Mi 11 will not be released with a charger, and this was announced by the brand’s CEO through a message he issued on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging social network in which he is frequently active. It is not a leak, it is worth clarifying, and what was said was the following:

“The Xiaomi Mi 11 will be officially presented with a completely new packaging, so light and thin. Behind the thinness, we made an important decision: in response to the call of technology and environmental protection, Xiaomi 11 will not include the charger.

Today, everyone has many idle chargers, which is a problem both for them and for the environment… We are aware that this decision may not be understood and may even lead to complaints. Is there a best solution between industry practice and environmental protection?”

As explicitly stated in the statement given by the brand’s senior executive, the non-inclusion of the charger in the box of the Xiaomi Mi 11 will be due, in principle, to the protection of the environmentwhich is very positive, but goes against the teasing that the Chinese firm launched at Apple, which was in favor of benefiting from the opinions and criticisms made of the American brand.

Good morning #MiFans, today we dreamed that our smartphones came without a charger in the box???

Fortunately it was just a nightmare⚡️⚡️⚡️

The Mi 11 would hit the market in February, if the annual launch cycle of the Mi series of flagships is fulfilled. Let us remember that the Mi 10 of the moment was presented and launched in mid-February. So, the next flagship terminal would arrive in that period. At that time we will know everything it has to offer us.

What we now have on the table is a mobile that, according to a lot of leaks and rumors given in recent months, will come with a full screen and curved design, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888, a chipset presented as the most powerful of all for the high-end of 2021, a battery with 120 W fast charging technology (66 or 90 W, at least) and LPDDR4X type RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage space.

On the other hand, the mobile is expected to arrive with an enviable camera system, which will consist of four triggers, of which the main one would be 108 MP. The front camera, on the other hand, would remain in a hole in the screen and would not become “invisible” as it is in the Axon 20 5G, ZTE’s mobile and the first to opt for an integrated front camera below the screen.
