State of Play – what did PlayStation show at the last presentation?

2019 is slowly coming to an end. This does not mean, however, that PlayStation has nothing to show. See what was presented at the State of Play.

State of Play took place today, December 10, at 3:00 p.m. Polish time. For just over 20 minutes, several games were shown that will surely appeal to a very different audience. Below you will find an alphabetical list of the presented titles.

Babylon’s Fall

Platinum Games and Square-Enix are behind the game. IN Babylon’s Fall we will fight hosts of original-looking opponents, and the gameplay resembles that known from slashers such as the series Devil May Cryif God of War. Below you can watch the footage of this title, and we have to wait for more information until summer 2020. Should we meet them at E3?

Dreams is a title that allows us to transfer our dreams to the world of games. Based on presented today on State of Play material, it can be concluded that the only limit will be our creativity, because thanks Dreams you can make games of virtually any genre. It looks very good and the production is headed for the PlayStation 4. The release date is already certain! It is on February 14, 2020.

Ghost of Thushima

A small excerpt from the trailer is also shown Ghost of Thushima – the latest game from Sucker Punch studio, set on the eponymous Japanese island. The title will be released only on PlayStation 4 and will allow us to play the role of a samurai. When? This is not known yet, but perhaps the release date will be announced in 3 days at The Game Awards. The rest of the video below will also be published then.

Kingdom Hearts III: Re Mind (DLC)

Kingdom Hearts III will receive an add-on, thanks to which, in addition to taking part in new missions, we will assume the role of a new playable character. Players can count on 13 boss battles, and you can watch the trailer for the expansion below. The DLC has been priced at less than $ 30.

Paper Beast

Something for PlayStation VR fans was also shown. Paper Beast, quite visually original production, got a new trailer, showing the possibilities of interacting with the title paper creatures, but also with the substrate and liquids. It looks really interesting, as you can see by watching the video below. Paper Beast will hit PlayStation VR in the first quarter of 2020.

Predator: Hunting Grounds

We already know a little about Predator: Hunting Grounds. The presented fragment from the game allowed us to see how the game will be played on both sides of the conflict – as people and as Predator. This material made me feel positive about the game, and you? Predator: Hunting Grounds will hit PlayStation 4 on April 24, 2020.

Resident Evil 3

There were leaks, there were hopes and high expectations, but you couldn’t be sure. The State of Play explained the situation in December. Yes, Resident Evil 3 is indeed going to be on consoles! The refreshed version of the classic zombie game will be released in the first half of next year, on April 3 to be precise. It is worth noting that by placing pre-release orders, we will provide access to Resident Evil: Resistance (formerly known as Project Resistance network mode).

Xbox Game Pass: MLB The Show 21, Second Extinction and more

Spellbreak is an AAA battle-royale game. Players will face each other, using magic attacks to fight and collecting equipment that will change the appearance of the characters and their abilities. In addition to the solutions from the aforementioned battle-royale genre, we can also count on rogue-like mechanics and RPG production. It sounds interesting? If so, you can go to this page and sign up for the closed beta Spellbreak.

Superliminal is an intriguing game in which we will solve spatial and logical puzzles in which the solution will depend on the perspective. For example, we can use a warning board as a staircase after enlarging it. I realize this sounds weird, but the trailer below should explain a lot. The title is expected to be released in April 2020; the exact release date is not known yet.

Untitled Goose Game

The hit from Switch, characterized by a large dose of humor and simplicity of graphics, will also be released on PlayStation 4. If you want to play the role of a mischievous goose, mark the date of December 17 in your calendars. The title will hit PS4 in just a week.
