Microsoft Flight Simulator, now available for Xbox One

Today is an exciting day for everyone at Asobo Studio and Microsoft. Pilots, aviation enthusiasts, fans of simulators and explorers can take to the skies today in Microsoft Flight Simulator, now available in Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta), Windows 10 PC and Steam.

The dream of making another Microsoft Flight Simulator it has always been alive, but what we really needed was the right combination of elements. A convergence of our collaboration with Azure AI cloud technology and Bing Maps to transmit more than 2 PB of data. To be able to reach a new level of realism, accuracy and authenticity.

To celebrate the return of this beloved franchise, players will be able to claim the “Aviators Club” livery set as a thank you for being among the first to blast off today through September 30, 2020. Available for a limited time only in the store within the simulator. This set includes Microsoft Flight Simulator-inspired liveries for all edition aircraft Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe.

New classic backwards compatible games arrive for Xbox One

This is just the beginning. We will continue to update our roadmap with new features for the simulator, including free world updates, themed DLC, virtual reality and more, including the great content that third-party developers have started announcing for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We have created a simulator for those who love simulation, but the invitation is also for anyone who dreams of flying, exploring the world or visiting their favorite places. See you at 30,000 feet!
