ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 821

Yesterday we learned about the launch of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chip that defines what has been the excellent and popular Snapdragon 820 that we have seen in both terminals such as those LG G5, Xiaomi Mi5 or OnePlus 3. A new processor that does not bring news in architecture, but a series of optimizations that takes better advantage of that 820 to turn it into the 821.

The first smartphone announced with this chip in its gut is the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe. A new chip that promises a 10 percent increase in performance over its predecessor and that its maximum clock speed is 2.4 GHz for its quad-core CPU. So, if you were looking for the first device with the best CPU technology, you already have the ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe here.

Apart from what the chip itself is, the GPU has Adreno 530, in RAM memory up to 6GB DDR4 and up to 256 GB of internal memory. This would be the higher quality variant in the components, while the other two options have the Snapdragon 820 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of space, and 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage.

All this series of virtues for a terminal that reaches the 5.7 inches in a single body in metal with a 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass 4. At the rear, corresponding to photography, you can have a 23 MP camera with optical image stabilization and three technologies that work together for a speed of focus 0.03 seconds. We can’t forget about the fingerprint sensor, 3,000 mAh battery, and blazing-fast speed with Quick Charge 3.0.

The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is launched at an exchange price of $ 500 for a 4GB variant and that goes up to $ 780 for the model with a Snapdragon 821 chip. The version with Snapdragon 821 will be available at the end of the year.
