Xiaomi smartphones are for sale everywhere in the Netherlands, but the manufacturer makes many more products than just smartphones. Xiaomi also has a lot of smart televisions in its range. Ingram Micro, Xiaomi’s official importer in the Netherlands has now announced that the company will also offer these TVs in the Netherlands. A number of Xiaomi TVs are already for sale in the Netherlands, but these are offered via the gray import.
The Mi TV P1 series with Android TV is the first to appear on the market in the Netherlands. Initially it concerns the smaller 34 and 43-inch models, but later the larger 50, 55 and 75-inch televisions will also appear in stores. The 43-inch model from the MI TV P1 series features a 4K LCD display with support for HDR10, Dolby Vision and a wide DCI-P3 color palette. The screen has a refresh rate of 60Hz and the speakers have a 10W power. Internally we find a MediaTek MT9611 quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage space and support for Bluetooth 5.0 and dual band WiFi. On the outside, the television has 1 HDMI 2.1 port with eARC, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 Ethernet connection.
The TV runs on Android TV 10 with access to the Play Store, so you can install apps such as Netflix, Disney Plus, Stadia and Spotify. There is also Chromecast support for streaming content from your mobile to the TV.
We do not yet know when the TVs from Xiaomi will appear in the Netherlands and what recommended retail price they will receive.
