Manual Samuel
I like games with a brilliant idea for myself. The first position in this week’s Top5 is definitely one of such games, that is Manual Samuel. In the game, we play the role of the title Samuel, who was a spoiled, not very independent boy until his death. We enter into a system with death that will allow us to live on if we survive the whole day doing all the activities manually. We’re not just talking about working or getting around. We will have to inhale and exhale, blink our eyes, and do many other activities to win against death. During the adventure, we will get to know the story of our hero. What is worth mentioning, there are over 600 lines of dialogue recorded in the game. However, what is certainly the most important, we can share the difficulties of control in a local cooperation mode!

Independent games of the week
Rogue Aces
The production described here is an arcade shooter with roguelike elements. Each action-packed gameplay will differ from the previous one through procedurally generated levels. In the game, we will play the role of a pilot who will destroy targets at sea, land and air to recapture important islands from the hands of the evil Baron and his squadron. The title is very playable and fast – we will not encounter long loading screens in them.

Hue
The award-winning puzzle-platformer fits the Switch like a glove. IN Hue we will travel the gray world in search of the main character’s mother. Its power is to change the background color, which opens previously inaccessible passages and solves puzzles in the game. IN Hue We will meet characters with whom we will talk and learn their story, and during the adventure we will be accompanied by over 30 songs composed for the needs of the game. Interestingly, color-based gameplay is also available for color blindness sufferers by adding a symbol display next to the colors. I really approve of such treatments.

Hunting Simulator
Hunting Simulator is exactly what it says it is. In the game, we track 37 species of animals in 12 different locations. To aid hunting, we will have a choice of 17 different types of weapons, from bows and crossbows to shotguns and rifles. We cannot forget about accessories such as lures … or even a drone. During hunting, we have to follow the game trying to adapt to the changing environment and times of the day.

Multiplayer game of the week
Redeemer: Enhanced Edition
If you were looking for a brutal, bloody and uncompromising game that you can play with a friend, then take a look Redeemer: Enhanced Edition. In the game with an isometric top view, we defeat our opponents with a wide range of firearms and melee weapons. We are talking about knives, clubs, fire axes, hammers and many others. We will be faced with a choice whether we want our hero to be a monk or a soldier – depending on this, his fighting style will change. Redeemer: Enhanced Edition provides different game modes:
- Story Mode for Solo Player: Discover Vasily’s terrible past as we learn the story of betrayal and redemption
- Arena Mode: We’ll develop our combat skills here as we fight hordes of countless enemies who will be waiting for us there.
- Co-op gameplay: we will play the game together with a friend
Admittedly, the game had some serious liquidity issues on the Nintendo Switch at first, but patch 1.2 took a pinch of that. In addition, the 80% discount is a solid compensation for other shortcomings.
