The premiere of the Call of Duty: Black Ops III Awakening DLC ​​on February 2

On February 2, the first of four downloadable content packs for Call of Duty: Black Ops III will arrive, with four new multiplayer maps and new zombie adventures in the lead role.

The first chapter of the new addition to the Zombies modeCall of Duty: Black Ops III,Der Eisendrache, will take players on an extraordinary journey together with the heroes known from the Origin map – Richtofen, Nicolai, Takeo and Dempsey. Set in a bizarre medieval castle, built on land that witnessed ineffable atrocities, where the rich deposits of element 115 were discovered, provide players with new entertainment and – in the tradition of the Zombies mode – will provide exciting twists and surprises that fans of the series will be able to discover for themselves.

In addition to the new Zombies content, the expansion packAwakeningAlso includes four new Multiplayer maps:Gauntlet, Splash, RiseandSkyjacked –a redesigned version of the fan favorite map from the gameBlack Ops II.

  • Gauntlet: Map depicting a military training facilityGauntlet fits in with Treyarch’s core philosophy of classic maps with three different paths, visually and gameplay. Each of the three basic paths takes the player to a unique environment – from the great jungle, through the frosty, arctic terrain, to the rainy city landscape.
  • Splash: Set in an abandoned water theme park, this intense map takes players to an imaginative environment with water slides, pirate ship wreckage and lazy river rafting that leads to a fantasy, forgotten city. The Splash map is designed for open and fluid combat, while providing plenty of options for underwater gameplay.
  • Rise:A map set on the snow-capped outskirts of ZurichRisepresents a powerful underground research facility designed by Coalescence Corporation. The layout of the map encourages you to play the classic tactical game known from Call of Duty with the use of covers and strategic moves, and its individual fragments allow the use of various styles of play.
  • Skyjacked:The Skyjacked map, located on a vertical take-off and landing plane hovering over the urban areas of Zurich, is a redesigned version of the popular Hijacked multiplayer map, known from the gameCall of Duty®: Black Ops II. The pace of the game and the emotions that flow from it are on a level that is one of the most popular maps in the history of the seriesCall of Duty®, the prototype, but with some variety. Players can explore the map in many ways never before thanks to Black Ops III’s new movement system.
