Rollout Android 12 For The OnePlus 9 (Pro) Suspended
OnePlus started rolling out Android 12 for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro a few days ago. However, OnePlus has already discontinued this OxygenOS 12 update due to various technical issues. The manufacturer promises to roll out an improved version of OxygenOS 12 “as soon as possible”.
Shortly after the first users were able to download the OxygenOS 12 update, many complaints about various technical problems surfaced on the internet. People complain about delays, volume buttons that no longer work in all situations, a smartphone that heats up faster, functions that have disappeared and much more. Many people are also unhappy about the acquisition of many visual features of Oppo’s ColorOS shell.
OnePlus has responded to the many complaints and has given the following response to Android Police. “We are aware of the issues caused by the OxygenOS 12 update and our software team is working on a resolution. We are discontinuing the release of this software update and will release a new version as soon as possible.”
