Mortal Kombat is said to be working on Netherrealm 12, not Injustice 3

An industry insider has ventured that Netherrealm Studios is working on Mortal Kombat 12 rather than Injustice 3, due to some issues between the development team and Warner Bros.

Jeff Grubb, a VentureBeat reporter, said it was better to get ready to get a Mortal Kombat 12 instead of the shabby Marvel game and Injustice 3. He thinks it makes a lot more sense because it’s a game that’s sure to bring money into the kitchen and will lose weight well, and you’ve heard that they’re working on it too.

According to Grubb, Warner Bros. is collapsing before our eyes and has also pointed out that we don’t know where, say, Netherrealm will be in a year’s time – suggesting that the team might switch. In that sense, he says it’s unlikely they’ll make a DC game under those circumstances after not knowing how long they’ll be at Warner Bros.
