Microsoft announces April (2020) free Xbox Live Gold video games

One thing is clear to us now that we are in quarantine: All free video games are welcome! While the Epic Games Store has announced a new batch of free video games and the April PlayStation Plus video games have been leaked, Microsoft has presented the first two free video games that will arrive on Xbox Live Gold throughout the month of April. We tell you what they are!

The Epic Games Store offers three new free video games

Xbox Live Gold in April!

Users with Microsoft’s Xbox Live Gold subscription receive a series of video games each month that they can enjoy for free. We already know two of the video games that will hit the subscribers’ library in April. They are about:

  • Project CARS 2 (Available April 1-30 on Xbox One): Project Cars 2 is a driving simulator developed by Slightly Mad Studios (Codemasters) and released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in September 2017. It offers a high-level physics and physics section, game modes, realism and a community that boasts be clean and competitive. It is one of the best driving games for the Xbox One, not forgetting Forza Horizon 4.
  • Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle (Available April 16 – May 15 on Xbox One): Assemble your team to play this retro turn-based RPG, Knights of Pen and Paper Bundle. In this collection of the award-winning game and its sequel, delve into a world of gallantry, class warfare, and more or less appropriate cultural references, all while complaining loudly to the Game Master. It has all the fun of paper and pencil RPGs, but no lost dice!
  • Fable Anniversary (Available April 1-15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360): Fable Anniversary is a remake of the original video game, released for Xbox 360. This new version includes HD textures, new missions and options, and more improvements. It is an RPG. In addition to the graphical and playable improvements, this version includes The Lost Chapters expansion.
  • Toybox Turbos (Available April 16-30 on Xbox One and Xbox 360). Collect and customize 35 vehicles, compete on 18 insane circuits, and destabilize your rivals with mind-blowing power-ups like mines, machine guns and giant hammers to attach. Master 6 solo modes or compete against 4 players in multiplayer (local, online or combined). Perfect for non-stop play!

The Ubisoft Store Launches Spring Sale, Featuring Big Discounts

Finally, we want to remind you again that the Epic Games Store is giving away a series of video games, including World War Z, and that stores like the one in PlayStation and Ubisoft have big discounts in a large selection of video games. Now that we are in quarantine and it has been extended, it is not a bad time to expand our libraries.
