League of Legends can grow with new announcement sounds
We’re well used to the announcer or the commentator during League of Legends matches, who informs everyone about double kills or even Pentakills, but it’s completely understandable if the iconic organ turns out to be boring by now.
Several MOBAs now have the option to change the announcement sound, just think of Dota 2 and Heroes of the Storm, but soon League of Legends will also be able to add this option, because Riot Games product manager Ken Adams asked a bit on Twitter.
At first, he wondered what fans meant when they said the characters should have different voiceovers, until it became clear that the audience would be much more receptive to the voiceover being changed. Obviously, this is far from the official announcement, it is not certain that this option will actually be included, but there is one thousand percent that the message has reached the developers.
Okay, so far it sounds like people were using Announcer Packs and Voice Packs interchangeably. Yea, Announcer Packs *would* be pretty cool.
Yup. Pretty cool.
