Helio P60 a new Mediatek Octa ready for the MWC

Everything seems to indicate that during the MWC that opens next Monday we can see a new SoC Mediatek Helium of the Performance range in action. This is indicated by the benchmark that appeared in the Geekbench software database where under the nickname of MTK P60 MWC Demo we have the results of this well-known test of a more than likely new SoC Helium P60 running under the new system Android 8.1.

We do not have too much data on this new Mediatek SoC but the Helium P60 It would be an Octa Core that surely, based on its performance, will include a couple of clusters, one with ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum frequency of 2.0Ghz and a second with ARM Cortex-A73 processors. A configuration capable of competing a priori in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 segment, although data about its GPU remains to be known, which, as usual, will undoubtedly be one step below that included in the chips against which it competes. Regarding the manufacturing process there is no data either, we bet on the 14nm.

We look forward to learning more about Helium P60 first-hand next Monday at the MWC and to be able to share them with you.
