Green Day will also perform at this year’s The Game Awards

A bigger party than ever is expected within the framework of this year’s The Game Awards on December 12 – which will be December 13 due to the time difference – as it turned out that even Green Day will perform at the event.

Geoff Keighley himself shared the news with the world on Twitter, and from this short post we learned that it took months to disband the American punk rock band, who they are made with a special, video game-related performance.

What’s more, their performance will be connected with an announcement, but whether this will be specifically linked to the name of Green Day, or whether it will only be a kind of indirect overlap, it has not been completely clear yet.
