GPD Pocket 2 Amber black a cheap version of this UMPC with Celeron 3965Y processor
Koreans from GPD are on a roll and today we present another new product, the UMPC GPD Pocket 2 Amber black which is nothing but an economical version of the GPD Pocket 2. The cut in price is accompanied by a cut in hardware although we are not going to use it excessively in daily use unless we squeeze the machine to the full. The main cuts come in memory, now with 4GB of RAM and in the processor that in this version happens to be a modest Intel Celeron 3965Y. Its most striking change is also obvious since now the chassis is black.
Processor, RAM and storage
The UMPC GPD Pocket 2 Amber black integrates a powerful low-power processor Intel Celeron 3965Y that has two cores and two threads of execution with a speed of 1.5 GHz and with integrated GPU lntel HD Graphics 615 with 24 EU and a speed of up to 850 MHz. only 4,5W TPDTo have controlled temperatures we have an active fan inside that we can deactivate by means of a key. As for memory we have 4GB non-expandable LPDDR3 RAM and internal storage 128 GB in format eMMc 5.0 that we can expand thanks to the included SDXC card reader.
Display and other features
The screen is a touch screen 7 inch H-IPS with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels in 16:10 format. At the level of wireless connectivity, it includes an internal adapter with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.1. In terms of connectivity we have a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port that is used to charge it and two USB 3.0. The battery is 6800 mAh, capable of lasting up to 8 h.
This small laptop has a QWERTY keyboard and on its upper right side it has an optical touch control system.
