Fortnite introduces its performance mode and reduces the installation size

EPIC has just introduced the new Performance mode for all PCs that meet the minimum specifications of Fortnite and we also have the option to shrink Fornite on our album removing textures.

This new Performance mode greatly increases the frame rate for integrated GPUs and basic specifications, something that favors the entire park of PC’s and laptops with humble specifications. Also with the Reduction of size on the disk if we only have an integrated disk it will occupy us much less.

Enable performance mode

The option of Performance mode for now it is available in alpha phase, and can be selected through the game settings menu and offers significant performance gains by trading visual quality to reduce memory usage and lighten the load on the CPU and GPU. For gamers who already have low scalability settings or less powerful hardware, this mode will allow the game to run better than ever and maintain a smoother frame rate.

As minimum requirements it is only asked to have 6 GB RAM so that the game moves smoothly, but it is recommended to use a SSD disk if possible to improve item loading. As we see we can have a enhancement of up to 30 fps playing with a 720p resolution on computers with an integrated GPU or dedicated low-end GPUs.
