Don’t worry, EA doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake

It really looks like Electronic Arts has nothing to do with the officially announced Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake, which Sony unveiled during its presentation on Thursday.

The work, which will be released for PC and PS5, is being created by Aspyr Media, who have transferred the franchise to mobiles, among other things, and it looks very much like Electronic Arts has nothing to do with processing. Because EA is owned by BioWare, who is responsible for the original part, we could rightly assume that they would have a say in the remake.

Geoff Keighley asked the publisher about this, who practically answered him with a “no,” just so tastefully so that it’s still out of the question.

I asked Bioware (and EA) if they are involved in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake announced yesterday and just received this response.

So I guess that’s a no? pic.twitter.com/mwa1FDdbjE
