Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Officially Announced

The new game of Call of duty is Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. It was officially announced via a teaser video, which uses the same “Know Your History” language as previous trailers for the game. The video promises a world revelation on August 26 in Verdansk, the setting for Call of Duty: Warzone. This official revelation confirms rumors about the Cold War scene based on previous leaks.

Most of the trailer focuses on the real life KGB defector, Yuri Bezmenov, who delivered a famous warning about the tactics used to undermine governments, tactics (or “active measures”) that include demoralization, destabilization, crisis and normalization. Most of the video is Bezmenov’s actual recorded statement. While explaining the mechanics of each step, with real historical images in the background. Images from the Vietnam War and anti-war protests mark ‘demoralization’, while later stages such as ‘crisis’ and ‘normalization’ show what appear to be images of more civil unrest, police brutality, the Stock Market New York Securities, political and various military technology.

“The time bomb is on,” warns Bezmenov. “With every second, the disaster gets closer and closer. The danger is real.

The video comes from Pawn Takes Pawn, a site that fans discovered while participating in the promotional ARG.

The end of the video shows a title card (again listing Treyarch and Raven as one of its developers) and teases the full reveal of the new one. Call of duty that will come next week. Rumors have suggested that Activision would use Warzone to make his next Call of Duty. It was apparently backed up by recent comments from company president Rob Kostich. Kostich said Warzone made the company “reconsider how, when and even where we reveal our next title.”
