Almost the iconic character of Twisted Metal was also a guest on Mortal Kombat
Mortal Kombat games are notorious for integrating as many guest characters into each episode, especially with Episode 11, but now creator Ed Boon has blamed which character eventually avoided the opportunity.
He shared a joint picture with David Scott Jaffe, the father of Twisted Metal, more than a decade ago, and said they had talked several times about a potential Twisted Metal arcade game with Midway Games at the time. In the end, it didn’t turn out to be anything, but not only was this plan stalled …
Boon also said that a hair separated them from the guest appearance of the iconic figure of Twisted Metal, Sweet Tooth in one of the Mortal Kombat games. It is not known exactly why the opportunity was cut off, but as the attached figure shows, it did not become anything in the end.
Sweet Tooth has also (more than once) been DAMN close to being a guest fighter in MK games.
