According to AMD, the advent of next-generation consoles has not slipped next year

The fate of the next-generation consoles is pretty doubtful, thanks to the fact that the machines would have to go into mass production this spring before they could be released this year, but the corona virus and ominous rumors also suggest that there will be Xbox Series X and PS5 next year.

Nevertheless, AMD has provided promising information on release dates, writes Comicbook.com. The schedule for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X is on schedule.

The news comes from Rick Bergman, executive vice president of AMD, who sprinkled it all during a presentation at AMD’s Financial Analysts Day. In other words, the coronavirus has not affected the launch of any console so far. Importantly, however, none of the machines have entered the mass production phase, where the core of the delay problem may arise.
