A new turn-based strategy game is coming to PlayStation Vita
The new production will be Desert Ashes.
The title will be released this fall on PS Vita and PlayStation TV. Desert Ashes is a turn-based, free-to-play strategy game with local and online multiplayer modes.
Here’s what we’ll get on launch day:
- 3 single player campaigns,
- Online PvP multiplayer,
- Local PvP multiplayer for PlayStation TV.
A few news about the gameplay itself. In order to ensure the greatest fun, but most of all the enjoyment of the game, the players will set the time to make a move before the start of the match. It could be 5 minutes, 20 minutes, 8 hours, or even a full day! It is definitely a convenience, thanks to which we will avoid people stopping the game.
An interesting aspect is also the so-called perks available in the game, allowing you to adjust your companions accordingly. For example, the Fort Toughness perk adds 20% defa, i.e. the defense level to all allied units in the ranks, or the Vamipre perk, which adds a bonus to the attack between 22:00 and 5:00.
Probably some of you are wondering what exactly these hours are about. In Desert Ashes, each turn we take causes an hour to pass in the game, and the time of day is of great importance when playing. For example, at night, due to the low temperature, the water starts to freeze, which can completely reverse the game.
