A new patch for Killzone has been released: Mercenary

The patch fixes some bugs and is said to improve the joining system to multiplayer games.

Unfortunately, bad news to start with. The update weighs as much as the previous one, which is over 1 GB. After the download, the old patch is removed, but the download requires free space on the memory card.

The patch is to improve the multiplayer mode, and more specifically joining games. I hope it will, because after a few weeks I got bored of wasting 30 minutes on the game menu and I don’t think I’m an isolated incident. Subsequent changes affected the system of rebirth after death. Until now, I have landed right in front of or behind my opponent many times, which effectively spoiled the fun. The last amendment concerns the incorrect calculation of melee medals. Of course, the overall stability of the game has also been improved.

It is a bit worrying that the multiplayer mode is still not quite working as it should. It is strange that the developer has not dealt with this problem for two months. Balance tweaks for some weapons would also be welcome, especially explosives and grenades that have a significantly exaggerated range.
